Osito has been working over these last five years to build a presence in Mexico. This is our fourth year buying in the Ozolotepeques. The team at Red Beetle help source and arrange these lots;this particular lot comes from eight producers, who made ten deliveries with an average parchment size of 250kg per delivery.

The coffee fields around San Francisco Ozolotepec begin on the edge of the village from above 2000 masl and go down from there in all directions, these great altitudes create a very unique cup profile. An extremely remote town in the Sierra Sur of Oaxaca. The people of this village speak mostly Zapoteco and it is necessary to have a translator when visiting the group or independent producers.
